  • The location of the country make it very easy to trade with other economies
  • The economy is still developing due to poor and corrupt government but has been fixed with new institutional reforms that should provide a more developed government
  • Agriculture is huge part of Kenya’s economy, it contributes about 35% of the GDP
  • Kenya’s GDP is $163.7 billion
  • Another huge part of its economy is it’s tourism industry but its has been affected by terrorism in countries that are surrounding Kenya
  • About 44% of Kenya’s population is in poverty
